The issues of future development of micro-enterprises and their reflection in the legislative activity of the Parliament have become the main subject of discussion at the forum “Entrepreneurial platform of the future”. Participants of the event were received by the conference hall of the Southern Expo Exhibition Center.
The forum also highlighted the problems of recruiting quality staff and changes foreseen by the newly adopted laws. Lviv Reporter learned about this from an ODA official announcement on January 31, 2020
The Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration I. Sobko addressed the guests, who noted that stable pensions and salaries and positive economic development were provided thanks to small and micro-businesses. Regional authorities, in turn, should create the optimal conditions for this type of business, cooperate with it and find resources to support it. The landlord also stressed the need to create regional business development programs.
The Lviv Regional State Administration reported two governmental decisions on January 24 to launch financial support for small and micro-entrepreneurs. Assistance will be provided through the Entrepreneurship Development Fund in the form of available 5-7-9% loans for the purchase of equipment and resources.
The government and the president have also announced a Return and Stay program, which provides 1.5 million hryvnia loans for 5 years at 5, 7 and 9 interest rates. Workers who return to the country and wish to open their own home country will be entitled to it.
